EIC:
- Rohan: Rohan Jayaraman is a current senior at BB&N and EIC of the POV magazine. He has been at the school since his freshman year and has written various articles during his time with the POV about British politics and Asian affairs. He enjoys writing for the POV as it allows him to further explore complex political issues and develop researched opinions on various topics which interest him. Outside of the POV, Rohan is the president of Knights Masterclass, BB&N’s Speaker-Visit Series and the Research & Experiment Club. He also enjoys playing tennis and watching all sports.
- Sophia: Sophia Stafford is a senior who joined BB&N in seventh grade. She enjoys writing for the POV because it allows her to dive into different schools of thought. She aims to write about politicized topics, understand both sides, and highlight the common ground between them. Sophia believes that both empathy and inquiry are key to deeper understanding and hopes that reading the POV will broaden your perspective. Beyond POV, she’s the captain of the Speech and Debate team and the president of the Computer Science Club. She also loves spending time reading, singing, and having dinners with friends.
Assistant EICs:
- Tia: Tia enjoys learning how changes in human behavior or policy impact people on a larger scale. Additionally, she values how the perception of the world shapes opinions. The POV and the conversations that are sparked create a community perspective of differences and more willing to listen and learn from others’ views.
- You-Yan: You-Yan is currently a junior at BB&N, and has attended the school since 2022. He enjoys exploring topics pertaining to politics, foreign policy, and international affairs. Outside of school, You-Yan enjoys rowing for BB&N’s varsity crew team and watching all kinds of sports.
- Sebastian: The admirable Sebastian Southworth is a senior who doth hath attended this school during three celestial orbits around the sun. A plethora of topics he covers, and in his free time, he enjoys procrastinating on his homework while writing bios for student clubs.
Editors:
- David: David Xiong is a junior at BB&N. He first came to BB&N in seventh grade. He first got interested in student publication, journalism, and politics, through his involvement with the middle school newspaper, The Spark. Currently, he serves as an Editor at the POV. He is especially interested in current events topics such as the Russo-Ukraine conflict, relations with China, affirmative action, race in politics, and Supreme Court controversies. When he is not writing or editing for the POV, he enjoys reading, surfing on the North Shore or Hawaii, running for the upper school cross country and track teams, and traveling around the world to understand different cultures.
- Walker: Walker is a senior at BB&N and a new editor on the POV. He enjoys writing about current events related to the Middle East and American foreign policy. In his free time, Walker likes to sail, run, play basketball, and jazz piano.
- Matthew: Matthew has been at BB&N since the 7th grade. As a member of the POV, he has enjoyed writing about topics that involve the U.S. both nationally and internationally. In his free time Matthew enjoys reading, playing sports, and spending time with my family and friends.
- Andreu: Andreu Beltran is a senior who has been at BB&N since 6th grade. He enjoys writing about the latest advancements in technology for the POV as well as climate policy. In his free time, he enjoys running for the Cross Country and Track teams as well as playing bass guitar in the jazz band. He is also a Peer Counselor and a Junior Guide at Bivouac.
- Mirabel: Mirabel Ge is currently a sophomore and has been at BB&N for 3 years. She enjoys writing about domestic/international policy and public health related topics. She spends her free time reading, listening to music, or going for a run.

- Leo: Leo is a sophomore at BB&N and a web manager for POV and CHASM. In his free time, Leo enjoys playing golf, working in research labs, creating AI software, and practicing the clarinet.
